Privacy Policy
Simple Volume is built to work entirely on your iPhone.

The short version
Simple Volume does not collect, store on a server, share or sell any personal information. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking.
Information we collect
None. Simple Volume does not send any information about you or how you use the app to the developer or to anyone else. The app does not connect to the internet.
Information stored on your device
To work, Simple Volume keeps a few settings on your iPhone:
- Your chosen volume control style and haptic feedback preference.
- Your volume presets (their names and levels).
This information is stored only on your iPhone, in Simple Volume’s own storage. It is never transmitted off your device by the app. Deleting Simple Volume removes it.
Audio and microphone
Simple Volume uses iOS audio APIs only to read and change your device’s system volume. It does not play, record or listen to audio, and it does not request access to the microphone.
Siri and Shortcuts
If you use Simple Volume’s actions with Siri or the Shortcuts app, those requests are handled by iOS under Apple’s privacy policy. Simple Volume only receives the action to perform, such as the volume level to set.
Children’s privacy
Because Simple Volume collects no personal information, it collects none from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If the app ever begins collecting data, this policy will be updated before that happens.
